Paula's Red Beans and Rice

RED BEANS & RICE

1-2 lbs. smoked sausage, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
2 cans red beans
1 can Ro-tel tomatoes, blended
1 c. diced ham
Rice

Saute sausage, onion and garlic until tender, 30 minutes. Pour off excess fat. Add beans, tomatoes, and ham. Simmer about 40 minutes. Serve over rice. Also can do in crockpot.
